This Privacy Policy explains how Joint Controllers handle personal data when you submit inquiries about our jointly offered products through the sd-alliance.com website, interact with our related LinkedIn and Facebook pages or send us email. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the lawful and transparent processing of your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

WHO WE ARE

In accordance with Article 26 of the General Data Protection Regulation, as joint controllers, we inform you about the jointly determined purposes and methods of processing your personal data and agreed individual roles and mutual relations of the joint controllers in relation to you as a data subject. When you submit an inquiry at sd-alliance.com, we collect the following types of personal information: name, surname, email address, phone number, company name, details of your inquiry and any additional information you choose to provide.

Through the LinkedIn page

When you interact with our LinkedIn page (e.g., by following the page, sending direct messages, commenting, or reacting to posts), we may collect: your public LinkedIn profile information (name, job title, company, profile photo), content of your messages, comments, or inquiries, any other information you provide via LinkedIn.

Please note LinkedIn processes your data independently; refer to LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy for details.

Through the Facebook page

When you interact with our Facebook page (e.g., by following the page, sending direct messages, commenting, or reacting to posts), we may collect: your public Facebook profile information (name, job title, company, profile photo), content of your messages, comments, or inquiries, any other information you provide via Facebook.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Processing is based on necessity to take steps at your request prior to contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and managing our LinkedIn and Facebook presence.

  • Processing and responding to your inquiry about our jointly offered products.
  • Communicating with you regarding your inquiry or engagement.
  • Improving our products and services based on your feedback.

    • You have the right to rectify your personal data that is inaccurate.

    • In some circumstances you have the right to delete your personal data. For example, we cannot delete your data if we are legally obliged to keep it for a predetermined period of time.
  • Your right to restriction of processing
    • In certain circumstances you have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • Your right to object to processing
    • In certain circumstances, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
  • Your right to data portability

We share personal data with third-party vendors and other service providers who perform functions or services on our behalf and under our instructions to make our services available to you. This includes IT services and Cloud services providers.

All involved companies implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and data security protocols.
